A visit to Orchid Garden of Singapore

Nestled within the huge Singapore Botanic Garden lies the National Orchid Garden. With over 3000+ species of Orchids, It hosts the largest display of orchids in the world. There are various sections in the garden to showcase different varieties of Orchids.

VIP section reserved for specific orchid varieties created in honor of dignitaries (prime ministers, royalty, and other luminaries) visiting the city-state. If you are visiting the Botanic Gardens, go there. If you haven’t visited the Botanic Gardens, go there for natural beauty and a truly pristine collection of plants and trees.

How to reach

There is no easy way to Botanic gardens by public transport. Nearest MRT (Botanic Gardens Station) is 20 minutes away.

Nearest MRT (Botanic Gardens Station) is 20 minutes away by walk.

Tanglin Gate – Take bus number 7, 75, 77, 105, 106, 123, 174 and alight along Napier Road. The National Orchid Garden is about a 15-minute walk from the Garden’s Tanglin Gate.

Bukit Timah Gate – Take bus number 48, 66, 67, 151, 153, 154, 156, 170, 171, 186 and alight along Bukit Timah Road. The National Orchid Garden is about 20-minute walk from the Garden’s Bukit Timah Gate.

A cab will drop you almost near to the entrance gate.
